Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop - Use Your Stash!






Welcomer to the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop for March 2026. This is our final month of CAS(e)ing a team member to celebrate 5 years of the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop. Below is an image of the team and where they live around the globe.




I am so excited to be CAS(e)ing Kim Gibbons Fee this month. I am a huge fan of her beautiful projects and was delighted to look at her projects again to choose something to CASe. I started with the Bundle that I wanted to use from my stash and decided to choose something that I felt I had not used nearly enough.  I chose the Impressions Abloom Bundle that is currently on the Last Chance List. I love these blooms so much  i then set about to find the perfect project to CASe.




This gorgeous card popped up in her IG feed and I just couldn't stop thinking about it. I decided it was the one! Such great colours and  bright happy feel to it. I have kept the green card base and leaves in Garden Green but switched up the rest of my card.




Here is my project using Petunia Pop and Berry Burst for the blooms. Petunia Pop is one of my favourite colours. I will be sad to see it go along with all the other beautiful 2024-2026 In Colours. The blooms are larger than the one's in Kim's card, but I wanted to make the blooms in the Impressions Abloom work.




My card base is Garden Green and the Embossed mat layer is also Garden Green. I love the freshness of this colour. I embossed the mat layer using the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. This Embossing Folder is a great addition to your stash as it is a fun design that will work with many projects.






I stamped the three blooms in Berry Burst with Darling Duckling centres on a piece of Basic White card stock as the background layer. Then stamped three blooms in Petunia Pop with Darling Duckling Centres as well as six leaves in Garden Green and die cut them using the coordinating Dies. I arranged them on tp of the Berry Burst blooms and adhered them using Dimensionals and glue.





I tied a length of Linen Thread in a double bow and adhered it between the blooms using a Dimensional. I stamped the sentiment  on a piece of Garden Green card stock in Versamark™ ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and set with the Heat Tool. I adhered this using DImensionals on top of the Linen Thread. I adhered six of the Petunia Pop Flat Pearls around the blooms as Kim had in her project.
